Group Workshops: Junior to Mid-Level Associates
3 Common Delegation Mistakes... and How to Avoid Them
In this workshop, I explore the three most common mistakes that I come across when it comes to delegation and management by junior to mid-level associates.
I address the importance of developing strong management skills, not only to the business, but also to the associate's own performance and progression.
I talk about my own struggles and lack of confidence with delegation as a junior associate and how I overcame them.
The session will be interactive with plenty of opportunity for questions, group discussion and live coaching.
This is a 90-minute, in-person group workshop, at a cost of £1,500 (excluding VAT).

Giving High-Quality Feedback
In this workshop, I talk about how to give high-quality feedback to junior colleagues ... including what NOT to do.
I discuss the importance of consistent and actionable feedback, not only for development of the junior team member, but also for the associate's own performance and progression.
Through the lens of what NOT to do ... and some personal disaster stories to illustrate the point... the workshop will provide practice advice on how to approach feedback in various common situations at work.
The session will be interactive with plenty of opportunity for questions, group discussion and live coaching.

Group Workshops: Senior Associates / Counsel

How To Have "Difficult" Conversations
In this workshop, I discuss why we sometimes find it so difficult to have certain conversations with our team, for example giving "tough" feedback, bad news or holding people to account for work that doesn't meet expectations.
I talk through my own personal experiences, occasional disasters... and eventual breakthroughs on the journey from associate to partner.
The workshop provides practical advice on how to approach these conversations, together with insight into how to develop confidence in these situations and use them as an opportunity to build trust and influence.
The session will be interactive with plenty of opportunity for questions, group discussion and live coaching.
This is a 90-minute, in-person group workshop, at a cost of £1,500 (excluding VAT).
How to Develop Influence
In this workshop, I discuss the important of developing the skill of influence as a leader. Including the benefits to productivity, work product, morale and retention of talent. Not to mention the benefits to professional brand and progression.
Being a fantastic technical lawyer is generally what elevates us to senior positions, but becoming an effective leader requires different skillsets. In this workshop I discuss my own transition into a leadership role and what I had to learn (and unlearn...) as I developed influence within my team.
The workshop covers practical strategies to develop influence, together with mindset tools to navigate common obstacles.
The session will be interactive with plenty of opportunity for questions, group discussion and live coaching.
This is a 90-minute, in-person group workshop, at a cost of £1,500 (excluding VAT).

My Coaching Practice
Hi there. I'm a former lawyer turned executive coach. I work with lawyers to optimise their performance, elevate their leadership skills and support them in creating successful and sustainable careers.
As a former corporate lawyer and BigLaw Partner, I understand the environment, practicalities and challenges faced by my clients. As a certified coach, I can also provide the tools and support they need to work through any personal challenges or mindset obstacles.
Since leaving private practice in 2017, I've coached hundreds of lawyers across London City firms and globally. The work has given me a hugely valuable insight into the common struggles and mindsets of lawyers as they navigate their professional and personal lives. This allows me to create programs and workshops that resonate immediately with lawyers and address the real underlying issues rather than providing superficial fixes or guidance that doesn't track into the reality of the legal environment.
My mission is to support lawyers in creating successful and sustainable careers and in becoming confident, influential and impactful leaders.
